Macon Georgia - Allman Brothers

Home of the Allman Brothers!  We visited the "Big House" Museum, which is the house the band shared in 1970-71 when their fame rose quickly and before Duane's untimely death. It was a very interesting place, lots of memorabilia and stories, bringing back many great memories.

Including the ad for one of the concerts I remember attending in Boston way back when.

After visiting the museum we went to the graveyard where Duane and Berry are buried, as well as where Elizabeth Reed is also. (if you don't know who these folks are, skip to the next post). Worth the visit if you are a fan.
