We took the Breeze out of storage on May 13th, yesterday. Good news, all was well and she started right up. I drove from the storage in Belgrade Lakes to Auburn Maine to Whited Truck and RV to have some work done.
We don't have a plan yet, although we intend to stay in Carrabassett Valley for the summer, perhaps taking a few short weekend trips. Tentatively we are thinking of hitting the road again around October 1st. After the very long winter we think traveling from October until maybe mid-February would be an interesting idea. That way we return to Maine for the best part of ski season, mid February though May.
Of course if we did that, we won't be driving the Breeze back to Maine during the winter. So we hope to find a good storage location out west or south-west and either drive back in the car or fly. I've talked to a storage lot in Pahrump, Nevada, the idea being inexpensive and a good climate for storage. Then we would be able to go back and pick up whenever we wanted to.
Anyway, just some thoughts.
